Choose a colour and hold to pour. Sand falls and slides where you pour it. Recreate the faint picture inside the jar, layer by layer, then cork the jar to see your score. Each beach adds a new tool, shown the first time you meet it.

Undo is unlimited, so you can take back pours and try another order. If a jar runs out, you can add more sand once by watching an optional ad, or retry the jar. After a couple of tries you can also skip to the next jar.

When you cork the jar, the App compares your sand with the picture and shows how close you came. Fill the jar more precisely to reach a higher score.

Everyone gets the same jar each day. Cork it on consecutive days to grow your streak. Missed a day? Open it from the calendar to play it anyway (it counts for stars, not for the streak).

Cork three Daily Jars in a week (Monday to Sunday) to earn a rest day; you can hold two. If you miss a day, a rest day covers it automatically when you play the next Daily Jar, so your streak continues. Covered days show as pale blue in the calendar.

Finish all 30 jars of a beach (corked or skipped) and its night version opens. Use the Day / Night button at the top of the map. Night jars use the same pictures with only the sand you need, plus the funnel.

Tap a beach picture in the row under the beach name, or swipe the grid of jars left or right.

Tap Share on the result after you cork a jar. The App makes a short video of your pour on your device and opens the share sheet. If the video cannot be made, a picture of your jar is shared instead.

Tap any jar on your shelf (or Wallpaper after a Zen jar) to see it on a lock-screen preview, then tap Save to Photos. Open the image in Photos and choose Use as Wallpaper. If you declined photo access, the share sheet opens instead so you can save it from there.

Spend the gems you earn by corking jars on jar shapes, tinted glass and sparkling sand. Corks unlock as your total stars grow. Gems and stars are never sold, and spending gems never lowers your stars.

Turn on Settings › Distinct sand colours. Every colour then gets its own pattern and a palette that is easier to tell apart with colour blindness.

In the App open Settings › Daily reminder. You can also manage notifications for Dune Jar in iOS Settings › Notifications or Android Settings › Apps › Dune Jar › Notifications.

Sign in with the same Apple Account (iPhone) or Google account (Android), open Settings in the App and tap Restore (also on the Remove Ads screen). Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com or by Google Play under its refund policy.

In the App open Settings › Report an Ad, or email us with a short description or a screenshot of the ad and roughly when you saw it. We will block it with our ad partners.

In the App open Settings › Privacy Choices to change your ad consent (EEA, UK, Switzerland). On iPhone, tracking can be changed in iOS Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking; on Android, you can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings. See the Privacy Policy.

Yes. Your jars, shelf and streaks are stored on your device, so deleting the App removes them. Purchases can always be restored.
